Any one who has been an Professional Member for a minimum of 5 years who can
demonstrate a high level of academic or vocational qualification by published
works in Stress Management can be considered for awarding “ Fellow of ISMA”. It
is a condition of continuing membership that Fellow will continue their
professional development in order to maintain and expand their knowledge of
Stress Management throughout their membership. Fellows may use the designation
FISMA and may use the ISMA logo. Fellows are entitled on request to be included
in the Referral Register.

National Stress Management Awards |
|
|
|
The National Stress Management Awards, organised by ISMA to recognise the
India’s best organisations when it comes to beating stress in the workplace.
With work related stress levels reaching new heights, organisations must develop
efficient methods for preventing stress. While some organisations do not have an
effective policy, there are many organisations that manage stress in the
workplace well and it is this which will be recognised by the Awards.

Purpose of the Awards |
|
|
|
The purpose of the National Stress Management Awards is to recognise those
organisations that make a positive contribution to protecting or improving the
wellbeing of their workforce. The judging process will look for organisations
that have implemented a successful stress management policy and judge the
effectiveness and benefits of their action. The Awards will aim to promote best
practices and celebrate successful employers and their stress management
policies. |

Who Can Participate
|
|
|
|
The National Stress Management Awards are open to all organisations, large and
small, that have developed and implemented a Stress Management Policy for their
workplace: |
|
|
|
- Public sector organisations, bodies and departments
- Private companies and commercial organisations
- Charities and not-for-profit organisations
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Categories |
|
|
|
The Awards, in this inaugural year, will have one category: The Best Stress
Management Policy Award, which is looking for the organisation that demonstrates
the best and most effective stress management policy. The Awards will be open to
all organisations with 5 or more employees and there are 3 sub-categories to
reflect the size of the organisation: |
|
|
|
- Small – fewer than 100 employees
- Medium – 100 to 500 employees
- Large – more than 500 employees
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Criteria for Participation |
|
|
|
To qualify for the National Stress Management Awards, applicants must be able to
demonstrate the following criteria:
The organisation must directly employ more than 5 staff. |

|
|
- The organisation must be located within the United Kingdom.
- The organisation must incorporate stress management systems within its operation
and at all levels of management.
- If selected as a finalist, there must be agreement to allow ISMA to conduct a
confidential survey directly with employees.

How to Participate |
|
|
|
The Awards Entry Form should be completed in manuscript and posted together with
all supporting documentation where appropriate to the address below by 31st May
2012. The form must be signed by the person responsible for the Stress
Management Policy within the organisation. Please send the completed form and

Judging Process |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Following the closing date for entries (31st May 2012), the Awards Judging
Process will be: |
|
|
|
- Sifting Process: All entries will be sifted and judged by a panel of two judges
during the period 1st June – 21st June 2012 to select 3 Finalists from each
sub-category.
- Announce Finalists: Finalists will be informed on 21st June 2012 and announced
to the media on 25th June 2012.
- Confidential Employee Survey: With permission of the finalists, a confidential
survey of their stress management policy will be undertaken by email directly to
employees during the period 25th June to 3rd August 2012.
- Final Judging: The 3 finalists from each sub-category will be subjected to a
Final Judging process during the period 6th August – 27th August 2012 undertaken
by a panel of two judges who will be in possession of the Employee Audit.
- Announce the Winners: The winners of each sub-category will be announced at the
2012 ISMA Annual Conference to be held on 6th & 7th October 2012.

Terms and Conditions |
|
|
|
The following Terms and Conditions apply: |
|
|
|
- An organisation may enter only one category.
- All entries must be located within the INDIA.
- The decision of the judges is final.
- Entries and accompanying material will not be returned.
- The company representative responsible for submitting the entry must sign
completed entry forms.
- The judges will not enter into any correspondence outside the formal judging
process.
- The closing date for entries is 21st April 2012 and entries will not be accepted
after this date.
- Receipt of your entry will be acknowledged.
- Information received will be treated in the strictest confidence.
