Peter Vlerick is presently working as a professor in the Department of Personnel Management, Work and Organizational Psychology, Ghent University, Belgium. He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from Ghent University. He was a PhD Fellow at the University of Nottingham (UK). His scientific research has been dealing with work psychological themes arising in particular groups (e.g. disabled employees, consumers, healthcare workers,...) and industrial sectors (e.g. education, health care, ICT, food processing, aviation, nuclear medicine,...).  He is currently involved in research projects regarding the digital assessment of human competencies, job stress, authentic leadership, food-safety climate, self-compassion, disability management and human manufacturing. Peter has (co-)authored papers in a variety of scientific journals and serves on the editorial board of scientific journals such as "Stress and Health", and "International Journal of Stress Management". He has been consulted as an expert by (inter)national governmental/public agencies.

He is founder and owner of Phoenix Resilience, a company based in Switzerland and organises the annual “NoStress-Kongress” in Basel. 2017 he wrote the autobiographic book “pitch-black – the different resilience-book”.

After a burnout fifteen years ago he was forced to ask himself how he got into this life crisis and started his research about stress, factors that can trigger it, our energy resources and how to strengthen resilience. Dr. Reddy had his Masters Degrees in philosophy, psychology and management; he took his Ph.D. in the area of stress management.

Mahati Chittem, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Health and Medical Psychology in the Department of Liberal Arts at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), Hyderabad, India. Her main research interest is chronic disease management where she focusses on topics such as lay understandings of health and illness, health communication, cultural contexts of illness, and end-of-life decision-making. She published several research articles and book chapters, received research grants, supervises MPhil and PhD scholars, is a reviewer for national and international journals, and is an expert advisor to many start-ups in supportive healthcare in India. Dr. Chittem successfully conducted international workshops on psycho-oncology and how to improve teachers’ efficacy in colleges. She is the co-founder and chair of the Hyderabad Psycho-oncology Working Group (HPWG), is an active member of the International Psycho- oncology Society (IPOS), and is a member of the Special Interest Group of Early Career Psycho-oncology Professionals within IPOS. Dr Gitanjali Narayanan is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and a Consultant in the Centre for Addiction Medicine at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. After completing her MPhil and PhD in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS, she did her Post-Doctoral fellowship at Washington University in Saint Louis, US. With over fifteen years of clinical experience, she has worked primarily in the area of personality disorders, qualitative mental health research, and personality-driven interventions with substance use disorders. Recently, she established PEDRA (Personality and Emotions Division of Research and Applications) in the psychology department of NIMHANS. She is involved in several international projects and has been a recipient of the Wellcome Trust Capacity Building Fellowship. She is also a qualified Dialectical Behaviour Therapist. She believes that it is by understanding the unique individual and personality factors of people who use any substance, that change can occur.
